How do you choose a bridge crane?

Hoe kies je een brugkraan

Overhead cranes are available in different types and parameters, and you can choose the right one based on your application needs. Here are some guidelines for choosing an overhead crane:

Consider the type and weight of materials you need to lift and choose a crane with the correct load capacity. For example, hook bridge cranes can be used to lift groceries, electromagnetic bridge cranes can be used to lift ferromagnetic materials, and grab bridge cranes can be used to lift bulk materials.
Consider the width of the area you need to lift and choose a crane with the correct span. The span refers to the distance between the center lines of the two tracks of the crane track, represented by the symbol L, and the unit is meters.
Consider the height you need to lift and choose a crane with adequate lifting height. Lifting height refers to the vertical distance between the highest and lowest working positions of the crane spreader, represented by the symbol H, in meters.
Consider your frequency of use, duty cycle and operating environment to select the right crane for the job category. The working level is a comprehensive parameter representing the basic capabilities of the crane, which is divided into 8 levels from A1 to A8. Class A1 is the lightest and class A8 is the heaviest.
